There are two safe spots at the bridge (for 1 set of situations only, as far as I know and tested).ġ - when you go up the stair, circle the stair and stay behind the wall, the fire will not take you there, but then the dragon will "eventually" come down. He has a decent amount of health and hits very hard, so if you want to kill him you should come prepared (high damage weapon, something defensive to deal with his fire attacks). To mitigate this try only attacking him a few times then retreating to the stairs, then let him retreat to his perch then do the same again. This however is very dangerous as he will likely use his fire attacks and they are very hard to avoid on the bridge. Use the cover on the right again, wait till he comes down then attack his feet. This will get rid of him for a while, but he can come back, usually triggered by coming back through the area where you first meet Solaire.ģ. Standing here will cause him to retreat to his perch, then he will fly away. Then go into the small area to the right where the Sunlight Alter is. On the bridge you can use the cover on the right near the stairs to hide behind, stay there until he jumps down, quickly run past him to the Sunlight Alter bonfire.
Just ignore him, there's no real reason to kill him.Ģ.
